Kia ora koutou,
After considerable thinking, it is with much regret that the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Ngatimoti Festival has been made.

We have taken into account not only the current COVID-19 levels and the inherent difficulty in forecasting what conditions we might have to meet for a large scale un-ticketed event, but we have considered the expectations we would have for volunteers to uphold the Public Health guidelines. We need to keep everybody safe, both physically and emotionally, and we want to protect our Festival's reputation of being a happy and fun day for all. The Festival is not only our school's fundraiser but an important day in our community and an opportunity for us to come together to celebrate, fundraise and share our slice of paradise with a wider audience.

Thank you to everyone for all your time and dedication to the Festival this year. Let's look forward to delivering our 20th Ngatimoti Festival in 2022.
